Applied Personality Theory

Engineering the Human Interface

At HiveLab, we explore the boundaries between psychology, communication and artificial intelligence, transforming practical disciplines related to human development into formalizable, data-driven systems.

OUR MISSION:

To create an applied theory of personality - a framework that links everyday human interaction with computational models of cognition and behavior

Key components of PERSONALITY THEORY

Personality theory is one of the key areas of our research and products. We create tools that support individuals, help them better understand themselves, and shape a healthy social environment. A strong personality is the foundation of a strong society.

We build a theory of personality on the basis of:

Social Identity Theory
Sociology of Everyday Life
Cultural Anthropology
Narrative Personality Theory
Evolutionary Psychology
Neuropsychology and Neurotypes
Somatotypes, Neuroendocrine Profiles
Psychogenetics and Neuroplasticity
Body-Oriented Therapy
Somatic Awareness
Systems Theory
Cybernetics and Complexity Theory
Integral Theory
Game Theory and Personality Gamification
Metaphorical Cards, Archetypal Models
Role Theory
ICF Coaching
Leadership
Negotiation and Conflict Management

Using this approach, we are developing a new class of AI systems that understand and improve human interaction not by imitating psychology, but by designing structure: extracting axioms, formalizing metrics, and creating real-time feedback systems.

First direction

From Practice to Ontology

Stage #1

Collecting and analyzing applied behavioral tools with proven effectiveness and available datasets,

Stage #2

Breaking down these methods into elementary behavioral constructs,

Stage #3

Identifying the underlying axioms, relationships and transformation rules.

Stage #4

Forms the ontological foundation of our personality theory: a common formal language for describing intentions, perceptions, emotions and communication.

SECOND direction

Building the Instrument Library

Based on these principles, we create a library of tools structured as "problem-solution" pairs, where each behavioral or communication problem is mapped to its operational solution in measurable terms.

This library becomes a functional foundation for applied AI systems, representing a set of human-machine operators capable of observing, analyzing and improving communication in real time.

Instrument Library

SECOND direction

Real-Time Communication Analysis

Our first major applied system is a real-time communication analyzer based on the methodology and database of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

The model includes:

16 axioms describing fundamental communication principles

over 50 dynamic metrics covering empathy, listening skills, conversational balance and reflective awareness

The system:

Voice Analysis

listens to live or recorded interactions

Communication Assessment

evaluates communication behavior

Communication Assessment

generates real-time analytics with adaptive recommendations, helping users identify biases, adjust their listening models, and improve relationship outcomes.

SECOND direction

AURI - reflection diary

Our first major applied system is a real-time communication analyzer based on the methodology and database of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

The service identifies semantic patterns, emotional shifts and cognitive cycles

generates context-appropriate deepening questions, reflecting reflective techniques of professional coaches

creates a personalized map of thoughts and emotions, forming the basis for adaptive self-development models - a digital mirror of human cognitive and emotional evolution.

Integration and Future Research

Our current trajectory seeks to unite these tools into a single ontological system, integrating knowledge from multiple disciplines: coaching, cognitive linguistics, social psychology, behavioral economics.

The next stage focuses on:

Ontological core

Expanding the ontological core to include affective and motivational aspects

Integration

Integrating the communication analyzer with reflective intelligence into a continuous feedback ecosystem

Development of indicators

Developing indicators of alignment between intentions, language and behavioral expression

Ultimate goal:

The ultimate goal is to create a theory of personality as an operational framework, a system in which communication, reflection and transformation are expressed in formal, machine-interpretable structures.

The Applied Personality Theory program transforms intuitive human development methods into a formal science of interaction. From coaching to conversation analysis, from reflection to adaptive feedback - we create a new generation of AI systems that understand, support and improve the process of human becoming.
